Five Guys milkshake and fries review:
I was about 10 hours into an experiment (legnthy, but nessesary), and my mother was dropping off my sibling back to UF. She ended up calling me and was very concerned that I hadn't eaten in over 12 hours (I get locked in very easily), so she convinced me to take a break and get dinner. We ended up going to five guys. I'm not going to lie, I counted. There were indeed 5 guys there. So at least it holds up to the name. I absolutely hate how expensive 5 guys is. but honestly, it's kind of worth it. (price: 5/10, mainly bc its worth it)
I quite frtakly, really enjoy 5 guys fries. I think theyre seasoned realitively well and I like how I had to convince my mother to only get a small for us to share because they fill the bag. They are also quite good soggy, which is quite importiant to me, personally. They are very reasonably sized too. Overall, very good fries (fries: 8/10)
The milkshake was very thick, but not in a bad way. it still tasted like a milkshake. They also have differnt flavors which is a blessing and a curse. A blessing because I like variety in my milkshakes, but a curse because I am horrible at making decisons. After stumbing around my differnt options, I settled on a salted caramel milkshake, which I throughly enjoyed. (milkshake: 9/10)
Overall, I am glad my mother had me take a break. It was worth it to see my mother and I was also very hungry. Would reccomend 5 guys, its quite good. (Overall: 8.5/10)

Checkers milkshake and fries review:
The value of the small milkshake and fries is abolsute folly. It was about 7 dollars for both and they are extremely small. Maybe I simply need to get more milkshakes and fries though to know what a reasonable price is. Thankfully, I was not the one buying it, someone else bought it for me, but alas. I will attempt to set this aside to give an impartial review. (price: 4/10)
The fries... were crispy. As expected by their tasteful brown apperence and rough outer shell. I think they are quite well seasoned for fries, it always annoys me when people rave about fries being so good and they are just so plain. But these oones are good. They are the stick kind, I hope that is understandable. A lot of the fries are quite short, which is more so annoying if you attempt to dip the fries in the milkshake, but great if you aren't. (fries: 7/10)
I got a vanilla milkshake. The milkshake was quite the dissapointment. It just didn't stick out to me. First of all, the viscocity was too high to be considered a milkshake in the first place. It wasn't until it had melted some to where it could reach the propper milkshake viscocity. Secondly, it just tasted a little bit off. I am going to give checkers the benifit of the doubt and say they AREN'T using experied ingredients, but it definly doesn't taste fresh (but who am i kidding, its a fast food milkshake). It also just tastes weirdly frothy. Like I don't know why I just... its airy? I'm not a fan. (milkshake: 3/10)
I will say, the fries and milkshake combonation together is quite good. Although the milkshake isn't really a milkshake, it is more helpful I suppose if you enjoy dipping the fries into the milkshake. That's honestly the best thing checkers has going for it. But then again, a lot of the fries are really short, and I don't want to get my fingers super sticky so its kind of annoying. The awkward taste of the milkshake is still somewhat apparent when you combine them, but the fries kind of help. (combo: 5/10)
Overall, I've had better, but the fries are pretty good, so they have that going for them. (overall: 6/10)
